A Quiet Life

Description

After looking over my more recent photos, I've noticed that because of the way I take photos and the way I postprocess them I've developed my own unique style. Go me! It's sortof a dirty-yet-clean plasticy-yet-old blurred-yet-clear light-yet-dark oxymoronic approach... I'm not sure wether I like the actual style or I just like the fact that I have my own unique style that I didn't even work on developing. It could be both, but I know I like something about it ;P This one also features my weird style to it... it's hard to explain, but I see a style to my photography. Does anyone else see it or is it just me?

Taken an hour or so's drive South-West of Sydney.

I've definitely noticed a style emerging from your collection, too. It shows in this picture as well. You always manage to capture character of the subject in every shot, which is quite remarkable. :D

One bit of advice I would give, though, is to experiment with composition. Almost all of your subjects in focus are at the center of the frame, which is good sometimes, but a bit of a weekness in photos such as Parched, Scones, and even Oscar, where negative space could've been set to one side or the other, enhancing the relationship between the subject and the world around it. :)

Remember that holding the button halfway down on a FinePix camera focuses, allowing you to move about until you press down to capture.

Anyway, fiddle with it sometime and allow your style to expand and grow! :)
